Sriram Kosuri named 2015 Searle Scholar

Broad Stem Cell Research Center member, Sriram “Sri” Kosuri was recently one of only 15 young scholars selected for the 2015 Searle Scholar Award. Kosuri, an assistant professor in the UCLA Department of Chemistry, was the only scientist from UCLA to receive the award this year, out of 186 applications nominated by 126 universities and research centers nationwide. The highly regarded award supports research of outstanding individuals who have recently begun their appointment at the assistant professor level and who have already demonstrated innovative research.
